Pros
- A mat asks less of the pet than a coat
- Two size chips tied to body size, not a fashion fit
Cons
- Gel, foam or water fill is to be confirmed
- Chew resistance and puncture care are to be confirmed
How it compares
The vest is wearable and many dogs refuse clothing. The mat stays on the floor. Neither treats heatstroke.
