Who is responsible
The controller is Josh Elgram trading as WellPawed, Southampton, United Kingdom. Contact hello@wellpawed.co.uk. ICO registration is to be confirmed.
What we actually hold
- Emails you send us, so we can reply.
- The contact form is not connected. Submitting it in the browser does not send us the message.
- There are no shopper accounts and no orders yet, so we do not hold order histories or card numbers. We do not show card fields.
- A pet profile, basket, colour theme and paw-trail preference are stored in this browser, on your device. WellPawed does not receive them.
Pet profile
Name, species, breed, size, coat, age band, weight and an optional photo stay in local storage on the device. The photo is shrunk in the browser before it is saved. You can edit or delete the profile in the header. Deleting it removes it from this browser only. It is not an account, and it is not backed up by us.
Processors
Hosting and email processors are to be confirmed. There is no payment processor and no analytics processor on this shop. If that changes, this page changes first.
Cookies
WellPawed does not set analytics or advertising cookies. The host that serves the site may set cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver the page. That list is to be confirmed. Preferences described above use local storage, not cookies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, or a copy of personal data we actually hold, and you can object to some uses. Because the pet profile never reaches us, we cannot retrieve or delete the copy on your phone. You do that in the profile control.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would like the email first so we can fix a real mistake.
How long
Emails are kept long enough to handle the question and any follow-up, then deleted. The exact period is to be confirmed. Local data stays until you clear it.
